Service Delivery Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager , you will play a vital role in supporting and building relationships with young offenders.

Position: Service Delivery Manager
Contract : Permanent
As Service Delivery Manager you will thrive when building relationships with young people and have the passion and drive to achieve positive outcomes in challenging environments. The role is based in prisons the East Midlands, as well as in the community in partnership with other organisations. You will be responsible for engaging young people in prison and in the community to participate in the charity’s life coaching workshops and one-to-one coaching. You will manage the charities team of freelance coaches and play a key role in project management and smooth running of our coaching programmes.

You will have previous experience working with young people and/or in the prison service and enjoy working in a challenging and changing environment. Building relationships with young people in prison and engage them in the charities coaching programmes.
Maintaining these relationships before, during and after coaching programmes to support retention and ongoing impact.
Building relationships with professionals in prison and in the community to increase meaningful referrals to our programmes.
Oversee the calendar of coaches’ availability to deliver coaching programmes; and oversee the central record of scheduled workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions.
Coordinate and manage prison vetting and Key/safety training for all coaches working in prisons.
Have regular meetings with the main contact person within each prison to identify and action any concerns impacting on the delivery of the charity’s services.
With the Head of Service Delivery, participate in performance review meetings with prisons, commissioners or funders as needed.


Understanding of issues facing children and young people in prison and in the community.
Experience of youth work, youth engagement and/or working with people who face disadvantage or challenges.
Experience of project delivery and management.
