The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Working as a key member of the European Legal team, in close collaboration with the Viatris commercial, BD, and litigation lawyers across Europe, you will provide expert support on contentious and non-contentious competition and regulatory law. Working with the General Counsel for Europe, you will help manage interactions with competition and other authorities, conduct analysis, and deliver exceptional advice to the European business.

You will primarily be responsible for assisting on
Competition law analysis.
Competition authority RFIs, attendances, and communications.
Regulatory law assessment.
Competition and regulatory litigation.
Management of external counsel.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Degree and relevant professional qualification
Experience at a top law firm and/or inhouse at a multi-national company
A good understanding of the pharmaceutical and/or scientific sector preferred
Excellent contract analysis skills
Ability to build and manage relationships across multiple countries and functions
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
Ability to condense large volumes of information into management facing reports
