Function & Job Purpose

The Direct Sales team function aims to increase new business, identify external opportunities and maximise in-house cross sell. The function consists of Lead Generation & Deal Closing.

The purpose of the Sales Executive is to create opportunities through new and existing data, progress all inbound enquiries to end sales stage and exhaust all inhouse sales opportunities inhouse and externally.

Role & Key Responsibilities

· Present WO to potential clients predominantly through telephone contact

· Be responsible to convert sales opportunities provided through the lead generation team and marketing platforms

· Generating your own sales opportunities through new and existing data (CRM)

· Develop new business relationships with potential clients by offering our products via superior customer service

· Achieve productivity and Company budget KPI’s set out by the Company

· Develop an understanding of customer requirements to offer a client focused service

· Adhere to FCA Conduct rules and Core Responsibilities relating to Sales function and the role

· Maintain and manage a pipeline and ensuring administration is completed on WOUK’s internal systems to aid the fair treatment of customers

· Create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals, following WOUK Finance procedures through the whole process

· Perform your role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment

· Ensure all compliance regulation and legislation is adhered to where relevant

· Any other request deemed reasonable from your line manager.

Any Other Attributes

· Previous experience within a high performing Sales environment, minimum 12-24 months required.

· Previous experience in Financial Services environment would be advantageous e.g. insurance, lending, business-to-business.

· Salesforce experience preferred but not essential

· Computer literacy

· Eagerness to learn with a will to succeed
