You will collaborate closely with the senior Electrochemical Engineer to accelerate the technological development. The cutting-edge technology combines geomimicry with electrochemistry with the aim to accelerate both the speed and scale of carbon capture and sequestration.

Develop and optimize electrochemical components to improve performance and efficiency
Research and evaluate water electrolyser architectures, electrode materials, and operational variables for scale-up and commercialization
Conduct experiments using electrochemical characterisation techniques to validate design and assess performance
Research electrode materials for cost-effective and enhanced performance
Contribute to scaling electrochemical processes from lab to commercial scale
Manage your research and development pipeline to ensure timely project completion
Degree in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
Ideally 3 years of experience in water electrolyser design and optimization
Ideally 3 years of experience in electrode chemistry and performance testing
Advanced knowledge and experimental experience in electrode characterisation, electro-catalysis, water electrolysis (HER and OER), and electrochemical technology development
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
