Consents & Environment Specialist (client side) Location: Port Talbot, South Wales (site based 3-5 days a week)
45,000 + bonus + benefits

We are seeking a Consents and Environmental Specialist to join a dynamic team integral to the development and delivery of major capital projects within our client. This is a forward-thinking organisation that offers substantial career development opportunities and the unique advantage of working client-side.

Support the Consents and Environment Lead in delivering key consenting work packages.
Manage planning and consenting workstreams for various projects, including those under development and execution.
Collaborate with regional teams and consultant/contractor teams to secure necessary environmental, marine, and planning consents.
Oversee the environmental assessment requirements and manage the EIA process, including scoping and screening.
Ensure high-quality documentation for submission to determining authorities and compliance with consent conditions during project delivery.
Educated to degree level in a relevant field.
~ Demonstrable experience in managing multi-disciplinary consent applications for infrastructure projects.
~ Strong technical understanding of project environmental requirements and the ability to communicate key risks and opportunities.
~ Driving license.


Degree in Environmental Science or Town Planning.
Experience in the shipping/port industry or related fields.
Experience with Developments of National Significance or Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
