The hire will be responsible for building out and leading the fundraising and investor relations function in Main Set. This role requires financial understanding, staying updated with the portfolio's performance, and articulating this to investors effectively. Designing and implementing Main Set’s fundraising and investor relations pillar. Ensure that fundraising compliance requirements are defined and met (with assistance from AIFM and consultants).
Build and maintain an institutional-grade data room.
Taking over the responsibility for building and managing the existing investor CRM.
This may entail travel.
Report to existing investors on their portfolio investment performance/fund performance at the agreed frequency.
Attend industry events, secure in-person meetings with allocators, and seek speaking opportunities to develop the Main Set brand and its unique offering.
Manage Main Set’s social channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, emails) and the website.
Remain up to date on the pipeline and the portfolio's performance.

Ability to understand and verbalise financial concepts.
High-performance environment inclined.
Financial/business undergraduate degree.
Experience raising capital and working with investors – must have private markets IR and fundraising experience, either directly on the buy-side or through a placement agent.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant fundraising and investor relations experience.
