Fitout & Drylining Specialist Contractor
* Permanent: Up to £70,000 + Package
* We are currently searching for a talented individual who is looking to join the commercial team in an ambitious Fitout & Drylining Contractor with UK wide reach. In this dual-purpose role you will be a senior attrition to the team with commercial scope from tender to completion.
The individual required is someone who wants to help the business achieve new heights and build on success.
Assess the viability and timeliness of project enquiries
* Read construction drawings and take measurements
* Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
* Oversee projects to ensure costs remain in line with forecasts
* Utilise relevant software such as Chalkstring, Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Adhere to risk assessments and health and safety requirements
* Stay up to date with the latest construction technology
* Liaise with construction managers, planners, and design teams
* Track changes to design and construction work and adjust budget projections
* Select and source construction materials
* Process labour applications and approve payment to subcontractors
* Deal with financial and legal issues
Experience in quantity surveying and estimating in the Fitout/Drylining sector
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools
* RICS) and qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred
