Job Title: Solutions Architect – Energy Technology Location: Whitechapel, London (Hybrid, two days per week in office) Role Type: Permanent Salary: £85,000 to £105,000 plus benefits and annual bonus Overview: Our client is a leading Energy Technology organisation providing digital solutions for utilities, energy suppliers, and large infrastructure operators across the UK and Europe. They are continuing to scale following significant investment and are now looking to appoint a Solutions Architect to support the design and delivery of high-impact technology solutions for their customers and internal platform teams. This role will work closely with Engineering, Product, Data, and external stakeholders to define architecture patterns, drive technical decision making, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable and future-proof solutions within a rapidly evolving energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of end-to-end technical solutions across cloud, data, integration, and platform components Define architecture standards, patterns, and documentation aligned to business and regulatory requirements Partner with Engineering and Product teams to translate customer needs into well-designed technical specifications Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution proposals and technical input for bids Oversee technical governance across delivery teams to ensure alignment with architectural principles Support continuous improvement across the technology landscape with a focus on scalability, performance, and security Essential Skills and Experience: 8+ years’ experience in technical architecture, solution design, or senior engineering roles Strong background in cloud-based architecture within AWS or Azure environments Experience delivering solutions within the Energy, Utilities, or Energy Data sectors is highly desirable Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and data platforms Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences Strong documentation and communication skills with an ability to influence technical direction across project teams If you have strong experience with the skill set above, and the role looks like a suitable fit, and the role looks like a great fit, then please respond to this advert with an updated version of your CV, or feel free to contact me using the information available on my profile.
