Key Deliverables:

•Sustaining and improving automation and control system performance across Automated Production Equipment, to enable enhanced delivery A-Safe product to our customers

•Deliver all aspects of automation and control system performance whilst adhering to SHE (Safety, Health and Environment), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and company standards.

How you can help us:

  • Delivering authoritative support to automation system faults and to quality incidents related to automated system functionality, leading to Deviation and CAPA ownership
  • Whilst maintaining Data Integrity, generation of data from control systems to support digital transformation and data analytics
  • Information Technology to Operational Technology interaction & support, including patching and vulnerabilities, planning and handling IT service outages
  • Use of Lean techniques, such as problem solving and Tier reporting, feeding into Total Productive Maintenance
  • Delivery of automation system coaching to technical and non-technical staff, including Engineering Technicians and Operating Teams. Mentoring of peers in your areas of expertise and being a mentee to learn from others.
  • Project management of small projects including equipment qualification, technical and business change management, and budgetary control
  • Commissioning of automated systems and support during manufacturing

What we'd like you to bring:

  • Underpinning knowledge of factory automation
  • Experience of automation and control systems within a manufacturing environment e.g. PLC, SCADA, Vision Systems, Drives, Robotics, Data Historian, Industrial Network communication
  • Ability to work creatively within the compliance and lean frameworks, to engage with stakeholders and to deliver value for the business
  • Relevant professional qualifications e.g. Degree, HNC/HND within a relevant subject field and relevant work experience in a similar role or regulated industry
