Cambridge Design Partnership are looking for a Diagnostics Specialist on an initial 3-month contract. You will have significant experience in developing in-vitro diagnostic devices and life science applications throughout the project life cycle.
You will use your in-depth specialist technical knowledge to help drive important development projects toward success. You will work closely with some of the world’s leading diagnostics and life-sciences companies to develop cutting-edge and innovative products from early-stage concepts to product launch.

Engineering expertise to support in-vitro diagnostics and life science applications throughout the project life cycle.
Experience could include - the development pre-prototype (breadboard), and prototype instrumentation and workflows relating to biochemical, molecular or cellular measurement techniques – including selection and procurement of components, and their integration for building sub-modules and systems.
Deep technical expertise in a field or fields relevant in the development of in-vitro diagnostic and life science instrumentation and workflows.
Including interdisciplinary experience combining relevant methodologies such as sample preparation, detection, data acquisition and data analysis.
Degree-level education in relevant subject such as Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, Physics or Natural Sciences.
Ideally required to be on site 3 days per week to work alongside the project team.
