The Role This is a newly created position offering huge scope and autonomy. Working directly with the Sales Director, you’ll help shape and lead a high-performing sales function while managing key accounts and driving new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Build and formalise a scalable sales structure including KPIs, processes, and commission frameworks. Manage, mentor, and develop a growing team of Sales Executives (currently four, expanding to seven). Lead strategic account management across some of the company’s largest clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Drive new business growth through proactive engagement, networking, and pipeline management. Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and present tailored IT and cloud solutions. Play a key role in business development strategy, sales forecasting, and performance reporting. Attend client meetings across the South East and be an active presence in the Basildon office (3 days per week). What We’re Looking For Proven experience in IT sales within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Value-Added Reseller (VAR), or software/technology environment. Strong leadership capabilities and the desire to build and shape a growing sales team. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot and act on commercial opportunities. Excellent communication and client engagement skills – you enjoy being hands-on and visible within your team. Experience developing sales processes and structures to drive sustained growth.
