BUSINESS MANAGER

  • Salary £45,000 per annum (inc. £4,000 car allowance) plus commission
  • Responsible for delivering target of £400,000 for a team consisting of 2 Consultants
  • 5% bonus on delivery of monthly target minus threshold (£25,500)
  • Example (4-week month) £45,000 target threshold (£25,500) = 5% of £19,500 = £975 total commission for the month
  • 45 hours per week (Predominantly Monday to Friday) but also to include evening and weekend check-in/on calls on a planned quarterly rota with TOIL given back

Duties:

  • To ensure your business is on target for both BOH & FOH in the Cambridge Branch
  • Develop and mentor at least 2 Consultants to get the business up to and over target by collaborating with them and executing your part of the teams sales pipeline
  • Collaborating with your team to ensure a robust recruitment process is taking place to fulfil client requirements and working with the Resourcer to ensure that all right to work and client compliance and best practice is being adhered to
  • To lead and mentor the Consultants in the team to develop their confidence with regards to sales, recruitment, client meetings, figures and compliance
  • Visit and review Evolve performance with all key clients on a minimum of an annual basis
  • To inspire the team with consistent behavior and leadership in line with the Evolve values
  • To lead and support Consultants with client check-ins both during the week and at weekends where appropriate
  • Monthly team review meetings and planning sessions for the following two months, analysing figures against target, sales pipeline and recruitment processes within that division
  • Internal Team ethic with team rewards as agreed with Operations Director around sales, recruitment and percentage to target each month.
  • Attend key networking events and awards nights in line with specific business

Skills and Competences:

  • Ability to lead and develop a team. Encourage, mentor and support to deliver the team results and the specific budget within the branch
  • Drive sales and business development in the region including National and Local accounts and expand to other regions where necessary as the branch grows
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the commercial side of the business, using that to understand key differences between accounts and where to drive the business
  • Understand and work on both margin and profit reports to analyse and track the figures of the branch. Use these to work out the strengths and weaknesses of the whole branch and be able to break it down for the consultants
  • Display consistent and inspirational leadership to the team across the division and set an example across all disciplines
  • Collaborate with other Business Managers in the wider business to form a consistent partnership and set an example by solving problems together and mentoring junior members of the business.
  • Work with clients to plan, develop relationships and support consultants in building relationships either via check ins at key events, attend review meetings or working on site
  • Monitor KPIs ensuring that we are setting the example by exceeding financial targets, sales KPIs and recruitment targets
  • Develop your network within your area and niche market and develop that relationship so that as you grow within Evolve, they then move with you on theirs and your business journeys

Relationships:

  • Report to Operations Director
  • Work with Directors on National Accounts where appropriate
  • Work with support team in Terms of team training and compliance
  • Work with finance team around all aspects of payroll and invoicing
  • Work with Branch Administrator for all compliance, audits and accreditation tasks
  • Create strong and lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike
