Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing and dynamic engineering business?

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other departments and senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision making.

* Daily posting and reconciliation of bank transactions, plus reporting of bank balances to the management team.
* Generation of sales invoices for each project following receipt of payment certificates. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Production of monthly management accounts in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
* Work closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Director to identify weaknesses in the accounts systems and processes and seek and suggest potential improvements.
* Assisting the Finance Manager as required with the production of cash flow and P&L forecasts.

To be considered for this role, you must be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. You must also have strong Excel skills, excellent communication skills, and a proactive and positive attitude.
