SEN Teaching Assistant Experience Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN to join our team. The successful candidate will support students with SEN, helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

SEN Teaching Assistant Experience Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in one-on-one and small group settings.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies.
Support students with emotional and behavioral needs using appropriate strategies.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance SEN support skills.
SEN Teaching Assistant Experience Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
A patient, caring, and empathetic approach, with a passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable).
As a Teaching Assistant please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
