Our client, a leading tech organisation, is seeking a Business Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide integration support to their Business Partners, ensuring smooth connections with users worldwide. If you're passionate about troubleshooting technical issues and delivering exceptional support, this is the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners' engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time
  • Manage the technical relationship with partners, providing support and handling service outages
  • Communicate partner needs to the product team, contributing to the enhancement of user experiences
  • Write production code to improve internal tooling and products, demonstrating deep engineering expertise
  • Scale programmes by creating informative content and documentation for partners, facilitating integration with our infrastructure
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support coverage via rotation schedule
  • Proactively analyse information to identify trends and recommend tactical improvements
  • Utilise problem-solving skills to resolve large business problems
  • Frame issues within the larger scope and goal of the team, translating them into actionable insights

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Sufficient years of experience as a Support Engineer or similar role
  • Engineering degree or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in API development on cloud-based infrastructures
  • Programming experience using Object-Oriented languages like PHP/Hack and JavaScript/React
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the full web stack, REST API development, and bug management support
  • Familiarity with building advertisement campaigns in social media
  • Exposure to configuring payments products
