Treasury Analyst
FirstBank UK is a globally recognised, successful bank who provide world-class services to various institutions and individuals. Offering a comprehensive range of retail and corporate financial services/products, this thriving business boasts over 10 million active customers in over 700 business locations. Due to business requirements and a newly created position, we are now looking to recruit a Treasury Analyst.
The primary objective of this role is to provide support to Treasury department managing day to day activities including compiling reports, preparing presentations and papers, executing trades, on-boarding counterparties & preparing KYB reviews, preparing credit applications & periodic reviews and other administrative tasks.
Provide FX and deposit pricing to Relationship Managers for FirstBank’s Private, Corporate and Bank customers including updating periodic Corporate Deposit Rate schedule.
Assist in the managing of intraday cash flows and cash flow forecasting ensuring funds are available for customer cash withdrawals, new loans, asset purchases and deposits repayments.
Help mange the Bank’s diverse funding sources including Firstsave and Flagstone retail funding channels.
Primary contact point for all client-related due diligence queries concerning Treasury
Lead the on-boarding of new counterparties and Bond issuers by collecting, selecting and reviewing all relevant Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) documentation.
Ensure all credit applications are completed in a timely fashion and existing credit limits are updated in line with the current credit requirements.
Help produce Treasury reports for multiple governance committee such as ALCO & BARAC
Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering
~2 years in a Treasury function
~ MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
