The Role:

We are searching for a driven Director of People who can create, own and drive our People Agenda. Reporting to the CEO and as part of the Leadership Team, you will develop and execute People strategies focused on creating a first-class employee experience and contribute to a culture where people can do their best work and be their best self.

Responsibilities

Create and lead on an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to enable Liva to attract, engage and retain top talent.

Be a trusted and strategic business partner to the Exec leaders and the leadership team to ensure that critical people issues are identified, and design and deliver plans to address them.

Create appropriate people policies and processes, and embed them in the business, including, but not limited to: Employee lifecycle processes, DE&I, Reward, Learning & Development (L&D).

Coach and support our people at all levels of the business, from Executive team to team members, with a discreet and empathetic style.

Drive employee engagement initiatives through the business, utilising survey tools.

Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development and knowledge sharing. Source and/or create and deliver L&D interventions to improve capability, e.g. Manager training, DE&I Awareness.

Own the talent acquisition process from end to end, designing a scalable recruitment process which reflects quality, diversity and an exceptional candidate experience. Involved with hands-on hiring.

Lead on Talent and Succession Planning across the business with a focus on closing identified capability gaps and identifying development opportunities for key employees.

Maintains good knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development).

Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with sound judgment and discretion in handling HR issues.

Create and own People related KPI’s to measure the impact of People interventions.

Able to travel occasionally.

Experience & Skills

A senior HR generalist with 10+ years’ experience, including experience working within changing, fast-paced, dynamic tech start-up/ scale-up environments.

A seasoned trusted advisor to leaders, used to having a ‘seat at the table’.

Has worked in standalone roles, being as comfortable setting strategy as you are in the operational day-to-day aspects of HR.

An experienced change agent; adept at identifying areas for improvement and driving business change, including organisation design and development.

Experienced in the People Operations aspects of the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to off-boarding, and everything in-between.

Maximises HRIS to automate efficient People processes.

End to end talent acquisition and talent management experience.

Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.

Data driven, with a strong understanding of how to apply data to measure success and solve problems.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation. Not afraid to speak your mind.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive, entrepreneurial and solutions-orientated mindset.

Experience of UK employment law and best practices. An understanding of Danish employment law and best practices is advantageous.

Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; is not afraid to address difficult issues.

Ability to analyse data, spot patterns and “tell the story” to drive decision-making and action.

Possesses CIPD Level 7 / Chartered MCIPD status
