Our client is a well-known National MEP Subcontractor, part of a larger Main Contracting business. They are delivering a £130 million MEP project in the Reading area for a duration of 4 years. The company is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to coordinate all electrical engineering functions and ensure a successful outcome technically and commercially, meeting the client's project requirements. Applicants must hold UK Citizenship, a valid UK passport with full work rights in the UK, and eligibility to obtain SC level Security Clearance due to the project's location and sensitivity.
The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will:
# Support the senior project team in implementing the engineering strategy and framework for the project.
# Engage with subcontractors from ITT to final commissioning and handover.
# Ensure subcontract packages are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting safety and quality standards.
# Maintain accurate records including RFIs, CE’s, EWN’s, WPPs, ITPs, record drawings, and other project communications.
# Bachelor’s Degree, HNC or ONC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. A master’s degree may be advantageous.
Prior project engineering experience is recommended.
Several years of experience in the engineering field.
Willingness to work overtime if required.
