About The Role Your expertise can influence change that matters. As a Policy Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the policies that drive our mission and ensure we’re ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead. What You’ll Do Research, develop, and review policies that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. Write clear, evidence-based policy briefings that inform decision-making at every level. Monitor sector trends, regulations, and legislation - raising key issues at the right time. Coordinate consultation responses, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and colleagues. Manage the policy framework and ensure governance processes are followed. Salary The spot salary for the Policy Advisor post is £44,189 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary. About You Proven experience in policy development, research, and analysis, preferably within the housing sector. Strong understanding of housing legislation, regulations, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable policies. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups.
