Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager
Salary: £90-£100k
Location: Cambridge, England
Eton Bridge Partners are working in partnership with a highly successful tech manufacturing organisation in their search for a Financial Reporting Manager.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a newly created opportunity to be responsible for preparing the company financials, executing technical accounting projects, strengthening financial governance and controls, and ensuring the accuracy of reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop on their role as the business continues to expand. You will play a critical role in developing the financial reporting processes.
Key Deliverables:
- Leading the day-to-day activities associated with the monthly reporting of the business results, quarterly forecast, annual budget and year-end process.
- Supporting the drafting of the Annual Report and Investor presentations.
- Preparing and completing a first review of the monthly management accounts.
- Taking ownership of the preparation of statutory accounts, ready for timely filing.
- Ensuring accurate accounting for revenue recognition under IFRS 15.
- Planning and management of the annual audit process, being a day-to-day lead and key point of contact with external auditors.
- Liaising closely with the external tax advisers to ensure tax compliance and accurate R&D tax accounting.
Candidate Profile:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA) preferably with a ‘Big 4’ background and strong academics, with 2-3+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experience of preparing or auditing statutory accounts (FRS 101).
- Technical IFRS accounting experience in areas such as IFRS 15.
- Strong Excel and other Microsoft application skills.
- Ambition to develop career further in the medium term.
