Salary: £22k - £25k
3 days in the office (on-site - car preferred due to office location)
As a Junior Designer, you will support and collaborate with the Senior Graphic designer to execute campaigns in line with our client’s internal branding.
Key Tasks
- Design engaging digital assets in line with brand guidelines to market the company, including newsletters, social media channels, and social adverts.
- Demonstrated experience in advertising, including social media, Google adverts, and PPC.
- Create channel-specific content for our client's social media channels and contribute to the growth of these accounts.
- Work alongside the wider team to develop visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for various business purposes.
- Assist with other design-related tasks as needed to support our marketing efforts.
General Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities may change from time to time, and the post holder is required to undertake any additional duties as deemed appropriate.
- Staff must always endorse the company’s Mission Statement and all supporting policies across all aspects of the role.
- Staff are required to have a Personal Development plan and to participate in training, meetings, or conferences considered relevant to their job.
- Perform duties with full regard to the rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of service contained in the staff handbook.
- Adhere to the company's policies and procedures.
- Comply with all health and safety legislation.
- Undertake any other task deemed reasonable within your skill set.
Essential Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all work is accurate and sense-checked.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms, including creating engaging content.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong skills in creating and editing visual content for both print and digital mediums.
- Knowledge of best practices for web and social media design.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
Preferred but Not Essential
- Experience in photography and/or videography.
- Good understanding of B2B marketing and design trends.
- Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS.
- Understanding of accessibility principles.
