As a Specialised Physiotherapist you will independently manage a clinical caseload, delivering tailored physiotherapy services to students with severe/profound and complex learning disabilities. Provide person-centred physiotherapy assessments and interventions for students with complex needs, promoting their academic, social, and employment potential.
Lead aquatic therapy sessions, complete relevant risk assessments, and design clinically effective programmes.
Advise and order specialist equipment for mobility and postural control, and provide training to staff and carers on its proper use.
Participate in and contribute to departmental research, clinical governance, and audit projects.
Recognised degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
Current UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
Significant experience at Band 5/6 level, particularly with students who have severe/profound learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or Autism.
