A French patisserie bakery, which also operates a retail business, is seeking a creative and dynamic Demi Pastry Chef to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in crafting a wide range of high-quality patisserie items, contributing to the bakery's reputation for excellence as it continues to grow. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth within a thriving and passionate culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Help Conduct regular stock checks and order necessary ingredients.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
  • Assist in the production of various pastry items, chocolate creations, and mixes as needed.
  • Learn new and seasonal recipes introduced by the Head Pastry Team.
  • Share ideas for new and seasonal products with the Head Pastry Team.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in training Trainee Pastry Chefs.
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
  • Ensure a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.
  • Successfully produce all patisserie products according to the established production schedule.
