James Adams is seeking an IT Security Product Manager to join a well-established tech company with offices across London, Bracknell and Birmingham. We are now looking for an experienced IT Security Product Manager to lead and drive the development of their security products, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and market-leading.
About the Role:
As our IT Security Product Manager , you will take full ownership of our cybersecurity product portfolio, from concept to market delivery. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our security solutions meet the needs of businesses in an ever-changing threat landscape. You will bridge the technical and business worlds, working closely with engineers, sales, marketing, and customers to develop and deliver innovative security products that safeguard businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT security products, from strategy, concept, and development to launch and iteration.
Define the product vision and roadmap based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
Identify market opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and manage product positioning to ensure differentiation.
Work closely with customers to understand their security challenges and requirements, translating these into actionable product features.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Monitor product performance using data-driven insights to guide future product enhancements and innovation.
Act as the product evangelist, promoting the product internally and externally.
About You:
Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in the IT security or cybersecurity space.
Strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and trends, including cloud security, encryption, firewalls, SIEM, identity management, etc.
Experience working with development teams using Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business language and vice versa.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer-driven product design.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, NIST) is a plus.
