Fluent Money are continuing to expand and has an exciting new opportunity for a Product Owner to join the growing Development Team. This role requires a mid-level professional with a proven track record in delivering successful software products to deliver API integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of customer enabling products/systems, defining and prioritising features based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements.
  • Create and maintain a well-defined roadmap and product backlog.
  • Act as a representative of Scrum values and principles within the development team.
  • Facilitate and contribute to Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as necessary.
  • Encourage and foster a Scrum mindset within the team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with frontend and backend/server-side developers to understand technical requirements and constraints.
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of frontend and backend solutions to support customer enabling services.
  • Work closely with entire Squad teams to ensure the successful delivery of product increments.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and key milestones.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
  • Experience in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in using Project Management tools such as Jira.
  • Solid understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile principles.
  • Ability represent and encourage Scrum values of openness and honesty.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into information to enable your stakeholders to understand and make decisions effectively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or with loan brokerage platforms is desirable.
