Security Infrastructure Engineer Microsoft

Infrastructure Security Engineers with an interest around modern information security methodologies and techniques, are wanted by an established FinTech software company who build risk assessment products for the Insurance, ReInsurance and Pensions markets. The business is already a well-established leader within their domain and has a number of AI & Automation products. However, they like to keep team sizes quite small as they want people to have a major say and influence on projects.
Joining an already established team, you’ll be tasked with building, supporting and continuously improving performance, scalable, resilient and efficient infrastructure, both physical and cloud-based.
Experience and knowledge of modern infrastructure, such as Azure hosted services and Office 365, notably, Windows and Linux Servers, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Yammer and core Office apps, Endpoint Manager/InTune and the Defender suite
# Experience of managing infrastructure within a DevOps organisation – including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation and enterprise monitoring and reporting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Zabbix, and Azure Monitor
# Demonstrable first-hand experience of managing IP based networks, WAN technologies, virtual server technologies, cloud, DHCP/DNS, MS Office 365, and SAN/NAS storage technologies
# Experience of securing infrastructure within a DevOps organisation – including secure coding standards, automation and enterprise monitoring and reporting tools specifically within Microsoft Azure
# Demonstrable experience of security controls and countermeasures within IP based networks, WAN technologies, virtual server technologies and Microsoft Cloud on Windows and Linux
# Demonstrable experience working with DLP and EDR technologies such as Microsoft Defender Management (SIEM) solutions and related workflow automation (SOAR)
15% Bonus, 7% Pension contribution, training fund, weekly team lunches, travel loans and numerous soft leisurely benefits. The team tends to come together 2 days a week for some collaboration in the London office, but only when it adds value to do so.
