As an Azure Infrastructure Solution Sales Specialist, you are a business leader with technical expertise within our enterprise sales organization, working with our most important Financial Services Sector customers. You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realise digital transformation through the adoption of cloud computing.

**Responsibilities**:
Primary responsibilities for this role include - Engage with customers to identify and develop new Azure projects which align to the customer’s technical and business strategy. You will work with partners and others at Microsoft to help deliver successful Azure projects. You will be required to be disciplined in business-management, adaptable to a culture of accountability and build a strong and active business network.
- Act as a key technical leader, trusted advisor and influencer in shaping customer decisions to adopt Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure solutions. You will win the customers’ technical decision for consumption projects and usage scenarios through tailored messaging, technical discussions, and aligning the appropriate solutions partners, programs and resources to guide them in decision making and consumption plans. You will lead technical demonstrations of Azure solutions to explain and prove the capabilities of Microsoft Azure relative to the customers business and technical objectives.
- Act as a sales leader by effectively managing and forecasting the pipeline of your territory. You will be responsible for the Azure forecasting of your assigned accounts and will develop a detailed territory plan to help prioritise key customers and projects. You will implement strategies to help accelerate the closing of deals in collaboration with other team members and build close plans to de-risk and drive predictable deal closure.
- Help influence Microsoft’s Azure Infrastructure go-to-market strategies by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers. You will be recognized for sharing, learning and driving work that results in business impact for customers, partners and Microsoft. We encourage thought leadership and we encourage all our employees to continuously maintain and enhance their technical, sales, professional skills and competitive readiness. You will therefore be required to attain and maintain required certifications.- Utilize a growth mindset by developing and maintaining elite sales skills to identify, assess, validate, and influence customers’ needs and vision for digital transformation while also building community relationships and orchestration to solve complex business problems.
- Secure & Drive Azure Engagements: Secure commitment for new migration projects and accelerate the existing engagements to drive Azure consumption.
- Win the Technical Decision: Win new Azure migration and infrastructure projects through strong technical sales motions Deliver on business and technical value to win new projects aligned to the Azure Infra Sales Priorities.
- Accelerate through Partners: Accelerate projects to consumption by planning and executing with Microsoft’s comprehensive portfolio of Azure partners.

- Account Management. Effective territory/account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation required
- Executive Presence. Experience and expertise selling to senior business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
