Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the transport planning team.
  • Develop strategic transport plans to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyse and interpret transport data for strategic decision making.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the transport planning team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Transport Planning should have:

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the Transport & Distribution industry.
  • Excellent strategic planning and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret transport data.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of Paragon (or similar tool)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
