  • Proven experience managing complex, client-driven projects.
  • Expertise in creating and executing Data Strategies.
  • Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills, especially with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Ability to lead projects end-to-end: defining scope, managing plans, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Awareness of Data Protection legislation and its impact on data usage.
  • Willingness to engage in novel situations and adapt to unfamiliar projects.
  • Strong results-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel and work on-site with clients as required.
DESIRABLE SKILLS | Principal Data Consultant:
  • Experience integrating data strategy work with technical or analytics teams.
  • Familiarity with pre-sales activities, including proposal creation and RFP responses.
  • Public speaking experience or demonstrative ability in forums/events.
  • Awareness of multinational regulatory requirements related to data governance.
  • Exposure to diverse industries and organizational structures, including public sector or startups.
ROLE OVERVIEW | Principal Data Consultant:

Our client, a global leader in data transformation and consulting, is seeking a Principal Data Consultant to deliver high-impact data strategy projects. This role involves leading data maturity assessments, strategy creation, governance programs, and literacy initiatives for diverse organizations.

As a Principal Consultant, you will:

  • Act as the primary client contact and oversee end-to-end project delivery.
  • Develop and implement data strategies tailored to organizational needs.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead small teams in delivering well-structured, high-quality solutions.
  • Support the ideation, development, and execution of consulting products.

You will also engage in pre-sales efforts, assist in proposal creation, and ensure alignment between strategic and technical data solutions. This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to excellence in client delivery.
