Data and Systems Analyst – Reading

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Reading office, for a Data and Systems Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of producing/ maintaining commercial & financial data sets for all divisions within the Roc group of companies.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage company commercial and financial data sets.
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity between various, multi-layer, data sets, source and global systems.
  • Drive and document adoption, improvement, connection, and scaling of existing data sets, systems and the quality of the associated information.
  • Responsible for preparing and issuing to deadline company sales data tables:
  • sales data tables include, but are not limited to:
  • Flash Reports
  • Holiday/ incentive targets
  • League table reporting
  • Deals done
  • Responsible for the preparation of financial data packs for Quarterly Board meetings and AGM, together with supporting analysis.
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of external reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and populate sales consultants billing tables on monthly basis.
  • Prepare, maintain and update company budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide regular analysis of commercial & financial data to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate commercial and financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed.
  • Support company stakeholders and team members with other ad hoc tasks and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a commerical or sales analytics role
  • Proven experience using Sage or any cloud based accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
