An established construction services company based in Ealing, specializing in groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) structures, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a self-employed basis. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-quality projects across London and the surrounding areas, with a strong focus on workmanship and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor with tenders and live project accounts.
  • Accurately conduct take-offs from drawings and specifications (experience required).
  • Manage project costs to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Utilize relevant software to track and report on project progress.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience working with reinforced concrete frames and groundworks contractors.
  • Proven ability to complete take-offs and prepare tenders.
  • Familiarity with Quantity Surveying software (training available for specific platforms).
  • Self-employed, office-based in Northolt, with occasional site visits.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor.
