Quality Inspector - Exciting Opportunity: Join a Leading Quality Inspection Team

On behalf of our client, we're on the lookout for an exceptional Quality Inspector to join a top-notch team in the new build housing sector, focusing on projects across Manchester and Leeds. From cosy family homes to towering high-rises, our client is involved in some seriously cool stuff

So, what's the gig? Well, our client is all about quality, and they need someone awesome like you to help keep things in check. As a Quality Inspector, you'll be their go-to person for ensuring everything meets the mark, both inside and out.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment crew, ensuring everyone's on the same page.
  • Working with Building Control and Warranty Inspectors.
  • Keeping a tight schedule of checks to make sure we're ticking all the boxes.
  • Getting hands-on with site teams, conducting inspections, and resolving any issues that pop up.
  • Fixing up any mistakes and making sure things are back on track in no time.
  • Keeping an eye on how things are doing and sharing the good news with everyone.
Qualifications:
  • A passion for construction (a degree or diploma would be awesome but not a deal-breaker).
  • If you're part of cool clubs like MCIOB/MCABE/MICWCI, that's a bonus
  • Make sure you've got your Construction Skills Certification Card handy.
  • You're a Microsoft Office whiz.
  • Oh, and a valid UK driving license would be handy too.

Experience: We're talking at least 5 years in a similar gig. You've seen it all - single-family homes, skyscrapers, you name it

  • You're motivated and can juggle a bunch of stuff without breaking a sweat.
  • Time management is your superpower, even when things get a bit crazy.
  • You're the master of making connections, both inside and outside the team.
