We have an opportunity for a developing leader who wishes to take their next steps into management and become a Deputy Team Manager within our Supported Living Services, where our team support individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible. The Deputy Manager will be released from shift to carry out the role for 2-3 shifts per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the recruitment of new staff
  • Ensure new staff are successfully inducted and receive correct training
  • Provide structured supervision to the staff team with guidance and training
  • Help lead staff meetings in a professional and constructive manner
  • Identify areas for training and development
  • Respond to poor performance or conduct issues fairly and consistently
  • Ensure staff complete timesheets and handle annual leave requests appropriately
  • Understand the wider business implications in relation to commissioning process, audit, and inspection
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions is preferable
  • Willingness to undertake further training or development deemed essential
