Our client, a thriving independent Letting and Property Management Agency, is in search of an exceptional and driven Property Manager to join their bustling offices in Broadstairs.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Lettings Team, stationed at the Broadstairs office.
The team, led by a Director of Lettings, consists of two Property Managers, a Lettings Administrator, and a Lettings Assistant. We are seeking a dynamic team player with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude towards positive change. Proficiency in relevant technology and Letting Regulations is imperative.
Though not an exhaustive list, the role will entail the following responsibilities:
- Coordinating property repairs, overseeing the process from initiation to completion, including obtaining photographs of completed work
- Liaising with contractors and stakeholders
- Conducting property viewings and inspections
- Managing check-in and check-out procedures
- Executing regular property inspections
- Collaborating with the Lettings Administrator on deposit returns
- Marketing properties through various channels, including websites, social media, and traditional marketing platforms
- Liaising with the accounts department to ensure accurate financial management
- Handling rent payments and maintaining up-to-date records
- Ensuring the integrity of databases and paper files throughout each tenancy
- Performing any other reasonable duties assigned by the Company Director or Office Manager
Requirements:
- Proficiency in IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases
- Familiarity with website management and social media platforms
- Thorough understanding of lettings regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Trustworthy and genuine demeanour
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Strong verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills with a professional appearance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,795.00 per year
