You should enjoy proactive prospecting, be an effective communicator and relationship builder and possess excellent proposal writing skills. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical consultants to identify the best solution to meet client needs, ensuring that Baines Simmons continues to be regarded as a trusted advisor and a market leader within Aviation Safety Management.

The Business Development and Sales department has three core areas: In-company training; Academy training and Consultancy and Large Programmes (C&LP). This role is part of the In-company training team and will report to the Head of Sales and Business Development.

Achieve personal sales revenue target at required margin level
Identify new opportunities from regulatory changes and market intelligence, engaging with clients to identify how our services can support their strategic goals
Work with our consultants and the Products team to respond to all client enquiries with the most appropriate training solution
Manage all enquiries and activities correctly in the CRM to enable accurate reporting and forecasting
Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ business development experience in a services environment with a proven track record of generating Account Management and new revenue growth.
Good understanding of business strategy with strong commercial analysis and negotiation skills.

Aviation experience whilst helpful is not essential as training will be given.
