  • Lead programs for the achievement of new management system certifications.
  • Facilitator of external audits (including BSI audits, surveillance and recertification).
  • Creation and maintenance of an internal audit program and associated processes.
  • The selection and management of the internal audit team and associated training requirements.
  • Prepare and chair related management reviews with the Senior Management team.

  • Facilitate and support the creation and implementation of new processes and existing process improvements.
  • Monitor environmental legislative compliance and drive internal ESG awareness.
  • Lead energy benchmarking activities, support the sustainability roadmap and steer environmental workstreams.
  • Provide support for bid and new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-years’ experience managing a Quality and Certification function within a UK SME or larger.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of business certification including a track record of implementing and maintaining accreditations.
  • Ability to view the business from a holistic standpoint, assess requirements and formulate and execute a robust and achievable strategy.
  • A strong communicator with an ability to pitch cogent and compelling narratives to stakeholders across the business, including senior management.
  • Proven managerial skills, both with direct reports and in collaborative undertakings.
  • A diplomatic and tenacious personality with a methodical and pragmatic approach.
  • Experience of engineering and manufacturing environments; preferably within a technology or electronic component industry (although not a pre-requisite).
  • Proficient in systems (Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence) and systems management.
