Our Client Is Hiring: IT Application Operations Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Application Operations Engineer to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of their mission-critical application ecosystem. In this role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining high service availability, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders. They will help deliver robust, compliant, and cost-effective systems while ensuring end-users receive the highest level of service.
Application Operations Management – Supporting, managing, and maintaining applications to ensure optimal performance.
Custom Development & Enhancements – Building and maintaining custom features and tools to meet business and application needs.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Analysing performance issues, resolving incidents quickly, and implementing solutions that drive efficiency.
User Support – Providing technical support and ensuring users can fully leverage the application suite.
Automation & Optimisation – Using automation and monitoring tools to reduce manual intervention and detect issues proactively.
Security & Compliance – Ensuring all operations align with internal policies and regulatory requirements, particularly within MS Azure.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
Background in automation, performance optimisation, and proactive issue detection
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across all levels
Ability to troubleshoot across diverse technologies (messaging, data, code, etc.)
