Location: NHS Foundation trust
Hours: Full-time

The post holder is an autonomous practitioner responsible for treating inpatients admitted under the care of an Elderly Care consultant and elderly care outpatients referred from community services, GP’s and consultants.
 Take a lead role in the supervision, teaching and appraisal of senior, junior and assistant physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
 As team leader, be responsible for operational management and participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Physiotherapy services, especially in regard to clinical governance within the Elderly Care team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
 With the other band 7 staff to provide full and flexible leadership across the whole Acute Therapy Service.
