Community Development Manager
Caerphilly Region / Home-Based (Hybrid working)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Mon to Fri (Flexible and agile working) + flexibility to work an occasional evening or weekend (on average once per month)
Duration: 12-month Fixed Term Contract until the end of June 2025
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum + 8 bank holidays + 2 gifted days (40 days in total)

Your mission as the Community Development Manager:
Lead a Dedicated Team: Manage two Community Development Officers.
Drive Community Development: Implement sustainable solutions to enhance community well-being, ensuring activities are customer-led and co-produced.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work with internal teams and external partners to improve service delivery and expand community projects.
Maximise Funding Impact: Secure income from contracts and grants to support initiatives and effectively use Community Benefits.
Develop and empower community members, helping them overcome barriers to involvement, volunteering, and employment.

Demonstrable experience in customer involvement in social housing.
Knowledge and a strong understanding of the social housing sector in Wales.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
You must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
