As a Psychologist you will be: Participating in the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessment service users referred to the service. Undertaking high quality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions. Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi structured clinical methods. Formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients’ mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence based best practise. Being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care. Maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Company Policies and Procedures. To be successful in this role, you'll need: Have BPS recognised psychology degrees Be HCPC registered Have Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division Have understanding of evidence-based psychological practice Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to a forensic/clinical setting Be experienced working with clients with cognitive deficits Have previous experience of conducting research and project working Where you will be working: Sturt House, Tadworth, Surrey Sturt House is a recovery focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for men aged 18 and over.
