Do you work in the field of digital, in the broadest sense? We’re looking for both people who consider themselves specialists (such as service designers, delivery managers or software developers) or generalists (playing a key role in making digital change or delivery happen, such as policy makers, strategists or digital team managers).
At Public Digital, we’ll ask you to apply those skills as consultants, but a style of consultancy grounded in lived experience: your lived experience, and the lived experiences of the wider Public Digital team. 
If you have specialist skills, you’ll sometimes apply those skills directly as a practitioner-coach - showing by doing, whilst helping our clients learn from the skills and experience you have.

We work globally and across governments, multilaterals, cultural institutions and the private sector. We are looking for exceptional people with a digital practitioner or consulting background to join our business in one of our 4 teams: You will build strong, pragmatic working relationships with leaders and their teams, and bring practitioner experience (for example, in product management, delivery, service design or another discipline).
Our client engagements involve coaching and supporting leaders, helping teams to deliver critical services at scale, developing strategies, and longer-term cultural transformation partnerships to improve capability and adapt ways of working in organisations.
We encourage our people to work across different regions and sectors to bring their expertise to different contexts and share approaches that can help organisations facing similar challenges.
Lead large client engagements with accountability for delivery, impact, our teams, and commercials
You’ll act as an advisor and coach, helping them to shape transformation plans and deliver measurable value
Mobilise teams for new client engagements and look after the health of our team and performance, including financial management
Facilitate delivery to a high standard and ensure we’re helping clients achieve their desired outcomes
Apply your expertise to help organisations dramatically increase their digital maturity, and to deliver better experiences for their users
Contribute to the life and growth of Public Digital as a values-led business.
Help to build a positive working environment within your project teams and the business as a whole.
We help them on their journeys and all that entails, which can be both inspiring and challenging work. At Principal level, it requires high quality judgement about when and how to support clients (drawn from your experience), resilience for the ups and downs of any transformation and empathy with the client and our team.
First-hand experience in service delivery and transformation initiatives in UK government or public interest organisations, including in the private sector.
Experience leading consulting projects would be beneficial, but not essential.
Strong understanding of best practice in digital transformation, especially in the UK
Pragmatic and proactive approach to managing engagements and building relationships, including excellent levels of organisation and delivery management 
able to scope and lead projects independently 
Excellent communicator, with an ability to express data and information in a clear, concise manner to a publishable standard, including articulating technical concepts.
