We're looking for an Assistant Branch Manager.

We are looking to hire an Assistant Branch Manager for our fast-paced Kenton branch. You will be supporting the Branch Manager in their day-to-day role. Duties are varied and will include customer liaison, driving sales and reaching targets, operations and transport, stock management, banking and cash reconciliation, personnel management and HR related issues.

This role would suit someone who is keen to develop their career and who will take on challenges to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position and will be familiar with building materials and the relevant terminology.

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-2pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements

- Sales driven with a Sales background – your own portfolio of customers would be a big advantage
- Ability to lead and motivate team members
- Commitment to delivering and maintaining fantastic customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Eligible to work in the UK
