Job Role : Mechanical Systems - Validation Engineer 6 months Contract Inside IR35
4 years minimum experience of engine validation/test experienceCollate system & component validation plans (DVP – Design Verification Plan) based on risk identified within DFMEAs (Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)
~ Deliver assigned projects end to end:
~ Specify test requirements and define engine build & instrumentation requirements through collaboration with relevant engineering teams.
~ Machine testing: overseeing validation test work on internal machines


~ Required Skills and Experience:Engineering / STEM degree qualified
~ Demonstrated experience of engine or machine development (or similar)
~ Ability to analyse engine data and use it to drive business decisions with clear, concise conclusions.
~ Experience of industrial diesel engine applications, construction machinery or generating sets
~ Experience of Proactive Reliability, and demonstration of Product Quality
~ Experience of DFMEA facilitation, creation and validation planning
~ Proven project management experience related to Diesel Engine development
