Job Role: Validation Engineer 6 Months Contract || Peterborough
Collate system & component validation plans (DVP – Design Verification Plan) based on risk identified within DFMEAs (Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)
Deliver assigned projects end to end:
Specify test requirements and define engine build & instrumentation requirements through collaboration with relevant engineering teams.
Machine testing: overseeing validation test work on internal machines
drive decision making from engine data reviews and end of test inspections.
Analyze data as appropriate based on the test work being delivered
Engineering / STEM degree qualified
Demonstrated experience of engine or machine development (or similar)
Ability to analyse engine data and use it to drive business decisions with clear, concise conclusions.
Experience of industrial diesel engine applications, construction machinery or generating sets
~ Experience of Proactive Reliability, and demonstration of Product Quality
~ Experience of DFMEA facilitation, creation and validation planning
~ Proven project management experience related to Diesel Engine development
