Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Human Factors studies to assess the usability of medical devices, including designing and implementing formative and summative studies, as well as managing project plans and third-party support.

• Conducting research (interviewing study participants and gathering data).

• Conducting quality checks on study data and analysing study outcomes.

• Writing study reports and presenting findings to our clients.

• Attend and lead client meetings.

• Apply empirical and analytical methodologies to determine how products and instructions might be improved.

• Create and develop user manuals and other training materials.

• Conduct task analyses and use-related risk assessments for medical goods.

• Create regulatory paperwork such as human factors summary reports, threshold analyses, and regulatory justifications (e.g., waivers for summative studies).

• Follow industry best practices as well as the company's quality system.

• As the company grows, help to strengthen its quality system and processes.

• Contribute to company growth by leading business development activities, preparing new work proposals (project planning, budgets), and building strong client connections.

• Attend client sales meetings and events to promote the business.

• Assist the organization's development by mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Your Profile:

• University degree (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD) in Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, User Experience, Product Design, or similar subject.

• You must like communicating with and understanding others. This work requires empathy and strong interpersonal skills. This work requires understanding our clients' perspectives and trade-offs.

• Maintaining an expert perspective, identifying gaps and vulnerabilities in technical tasks and addressing them.

• Maintains awareness of project risks and recommends mitigating options.

• Excellent written and vocal English abilities are necessary.

• We work in a regulated business, thus attention to detail is essential for this role.

• Adaptability, organisational abilities, and the ability to multitask.

• You should have an interest in medicine and medical products.
