Our signature restaurant is a partnership with SUSHISAMBA, which celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru. W Lounge is W Edinburghs social hub for guests and locals alike. Open from 9am until late, W Lounge will showcase the best of Gaelic produce in its food offering, complimented with innovative beverage concepts.
Supporting all aspects of the kitchen operation will give you the opportunity to find where your passion truly lies.
Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurants opening and beyond. All our kitchens will be equipped with all new equipment at your disposal.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, such as product rotation, First In-First Out (FIFO); and Cold Chain compliance, across all food-related departments and areas.
Ensure the quality of the food items and notify manager if a product does not meet specifications.
Report maintenance issues immediately to appropriate personnel (i.e., Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.
