Personal Assistant & Bookkeeper (Part-time role - 2/3 days per week)


This is an office-based position in a private home in Central London, working with family members to manage the household, budgets, payroll, filing and bank payments. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a background in both Administrative and Bookkeeping tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and responding to all relevant correspondence including phone calls, emails and letters.
  • Scheduling appointments and organising diary entries for one family member.
  • Setting reminders for meetings and appointments.
  • Weekly collation and payment of household and personal invoices when approved.
  • Monthly payroll preparation for payroll administrators.
  • Preparation of monthly bank statement summaries.
  • Monthly payment/expense reports, with associated invoices, need to be created and presented.
  • Creation of a yearly budget with cash flow requirements.
  • Paper and digital filing for easy access and entry in to Xero software for third-party review.
  • Liaising with third-party professional institutions to support cash-flow requirements and annual tax compliance.
  • Making travel and hotel arrangements for one family member.
  • Managing petty cash.
  • Staff holiday planning.
