Workshop Engineer - Industrial Power Tools and Systems

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The Workshop Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the repair, maintenance, and testing of industrial power tools and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on a wide range of industrial power tools and systems, including pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tools.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to prevent equipment downtime and ensure longevity.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify and troubleshoot technical issues accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with industrial power tools and systems, and preferably a background in Plant construction equipment, such as Air Compressors, Generators, Bess, De-watering Pumps, Light towers, Handheld tools and Breakers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic systems, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Desired Skills and Experience

Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
