I am currently working with a company that is leading the way in advancing AI technology, particularly in the field of autonomous digital assistants. The company is rapidly growing and is led by a team of industry experts dedicated to transforming the landscape of professional work.


About the Team:

This team is revolutionising the concept of Digital Workers by creating the world's leading AI Sales Development Representative (SDR). They use Language Model Models (LLMs) and integrate Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) into professional contexts. Their vision is to reshape the future of work by using Digital Workers to foster collaborative relationships between humans and AI.


What You'll Do:

As the Head of Engineering, you will work closely with the CPO and CTO to define technical scope and lead a growing team of engineers to build the best-in-class AI products. The Product & Engineering team is responsible for building and delivering their AI worker, ensuring companies have access to the best Digital SDR.


There tech stack includes NextJS (+Tailwind), Prisma, GraphQL, AWS, Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Perplexity.


This is a hands-on role, with 70% of the time dedicated to leadership and 30% to individual contribution. Your responsibilities include:


- Driving the technical vision and ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Scaling workflows, data pipelines, and integrations core to "her" functionality.

- Orchestrating the building of new workflows and contributing to maintenance.

- Identifying innovative ways to establish our architecture and Digital Worker playbook in new domains.

- Evolving the platform architecture to meet scaling requirements.

- Leading planning, execution, and delivery of product features and technical requirements.

- Providing support to the team on technical decisions and user support.

- Fostering a positive engineering culture and building the engineering team.

- Leading and mentoring the engineering team, identifying career development opportunities.

- Providing meaningful input on other areas of the company.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a management role.

- Experience in building and delivering products at scale.

- Ability to lead the engineering efforts into an AI-first architecture.

- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.

- Ownership mentality and willingness to pick up new knowledge.

- Humble attitude and eagerness to help others.

- Ability to operate with high urgency and prioritize effectively.

- Thriving in dynamic environments and navigating ambiguity.

- Effective communication skills.
