Overview
The Systems and Platform Architecture team is looking for a Platform Architect to design and provide oversight for Platform solutions through all stages of the development life cycle from bid, concept through architecture, design, build, test and delivery into production.
Role

Typically, the role will require the holder to:

• Produce High Level Designs for Enterprise Management solutions.
• Maintain the technology roadmap EM Tools and technologies in line with end of support dates.
• Work closely with cross functional teams including Delivery, Engineering and Operations.
• Ensure that new solutions conform to policies and standards and meet defined non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security and manageability.
• Identify, assess and communicate technical risks to the Business and Operations.
• Evaluate products for project and future usage and take responsibility for trialling new technologies.

All About You
Essential:
• Indepth knowledge of Observability and Monitoring technologies across Legacy Infrastructure, Cloud systems and en-premise Containerised environments.
• Indepth knowledge of Interlink Software Systems Observability AIOPS tools
• Indepth knowledge of BMC TSOM and Patrol Agent Architecture
• Significant experience in a demanding, high availability environment
• Proven experience of delivering complex technical designs and architectures
• Ability to analyse systems and extract required information for delivery of complex integrations.
• Ability to present complex technical information to both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Flexibility to take on new products, services, strategies and ways of working.
• A clear understanding of how non-functional requirements such as performance and availability are delivered by a technology solution.
Desirable:
• Experience of of working with technical architecture for OpenSearch, Elastic, and Splunk.
• Experience with Integrating with Hypervisor REST APIs for Oracle and VMware Products
• Experience with working with NNMi for SNMPv3 devices.
• SNMPv3 Integration
• IT Security experience
• Understanding of Unix Shell languages
• Experience of setting up TLS Certificate solutions
